continuity needed for building friendships and community as
well as learning. The

RCIA:
RCIA
is a process in which adults are invited to grow in faith.
It is educational, social and primarily spiritual.
Any adult, baptized or not, who wishes to possibly
pursue full initiation in the Catholic Church is invited to
attend. Those
who attend are asked to bring their sponsors to as many
sessions as possible. Full
initiation involves the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation,
and Eucharist. RCIA
meets every Monday from 7:00 to 8:30 PM in the
Parish
Center
and runs from September
through the Easter
Vigil and ending at Pentecost after a few sessions
during the Mystagogia time
in May.
Catholic
Scripture Study: “Come and See’ is a weekly Catholic Bible Study open to
all, with different levels of Bible knowledge.
We gather in fellowship to share our love for the
Catholic faith through personal study, small group
discussions and periodic guest speakers.
We meet on Thursday mornings from 9:30 to 11:00 AM in
the
Parish
Center
from September to April. Welcome
coffee and registration is held on the 2nd
Thursday of September.
Small
Christian Community Faith Sharing Groups: To
help the people
of faith learn, renew, teach and live the life of the risen
Christ in the Catholic Church while bonding as community.
Based on the very successful faith sharing group model
of RENEW 2000, we have re-instituted Small Christian
Community Groups. They
meet for six sessions in the fall and six sessions during
Lent. Scripture based materials will be provided at a small
fee for each participant. Each year we will offer a
reflection text which coordinates with the theme of the
Bible Study Group. Groups of 8-12 people and a facilitator
meet in host homes at a time and day of their choice. We
will provide training for facilitators.
