Community Rewards

The Social Justice Committee would like to invite you to participate in the Foodtown fundraising program called the Community Rewards Program. This program provides you with the option of donating your S&H Greenpoints directly to Holy Cross with no monetary cost to you. Funds raised through this program will be used to help the poor in Haiti and other countries, through the Food for the Poor, Inc. programs.

“But, how does it actually work?”

• In a few weeks a Community Rewards card will be distributed after mass. This card can be used by you, family, parents, grandparents, friends, etc.

• When you shop at Foodtown present your traditional Food Circus Foodtown club card with your order. If you do not have a club card you can obtain one at the Courtesy Counter.

• After the order is complete, simply present the cashier with your Community Rewards card and tell the cashier how many points you would like to donate (in increments of 500 points). There is no limit on how many points someone can donate.

• If you forget your Community Rewards card, simply notify the cashier that you do not have your card and want to donate Greenpoints to Holy Cross. The cashier will be able to locate the barcode for Holy Cross

• Twice per year Holy Cross will receive a check for the value of the S&H Greenpoints donated. All funds received will be used by the Social Justice Committees, to support the needy through the Food for the Poor programs.
